Week 18 Waiver Wire/Free Agent Targets

Week 18

Trey Lance

Lance played better and better as the game progressed. The Niners have a tough divisional matchup against the Rams this week but Lance has a high floor matched with a high ceiling. He’ll be a 2022 QB1.

Tyler Huntley

Ravens have no incentive to play Lamar Jackson. I expect Huntley to get some more run as the Ravens end the season at home against the Steelers.

Taysom Hill

Taysom Hill gets the Falcons Sunday which should shape up to be a nice track meet. He offers a high floor and high ceiling.

Le’Veon Bell

It looks like Ronald Jones is going to be sitting Week 18 with an ankle injury and Vaughn is also dealing with some banged up ribs. This could leave the door open for Bell to get the start for the Week 18 matchup against the Panthers. Bell should be able to fall into the end zone and bring in a few passes in the air.

Rex Burkhead

Burkhead predictably had a poor game on the ground rushing the ball 16 times for 47 yards in Week 17. However, he did prove to be basically matchup proof with his volume giving him a high floor. Burkhead saw 6 targets and brought in all 6 for 32 yards.

Ty Johnson

Michael Carter went down early with a concussion. Coleman is still sidelined so I expect Johnson to get all of the air work for the RBs as long as Carter is out. In standard scoring, Austin Walter is worth a look as he gobbled up 15 carries with Carter out.

Braxton Berrios

Berrios is finding all kinds of ways into the end zone. Couple that with 12 targets last week, he is a must start in Week 18.

Deonte Harris

Harris came back from his suspension and saw 2 targets in his return. In Week 18 he will get a matchup against the Falcons who are prone to giving up big plays. I expect the Saints to draw up some stuff for Harris to get loose on Sunday.

Cedrick Wilson

Wilson took over the WR3 duties as Michael Gallup went down with a torn ACL right before half Sunday. Wilson has already worked into the offense before that so I wouldn’t be shocked if he sees upwards of 8 targets here.

Breshad Perriman

We all know what happened with Antonio Brown on Sunday which now opens the door for Perriman to get some work at WR. There are no proven WRs behind Evans now in TB and Perriman has been under Arians before. He has talent and his experience gives him the upper hand over guys like Tyler Johnson and Cyril Grayson.

John Bates

Bates was getting run over Ricky Seals-Jones even before RSJ got injured.

CJ Uzomah

Uzomah is the odd man out recently as the Bengals WRs have been going nuts production-wise. Burrow is locked in and the Bengals get an eliminated Browns team in Week 18 who have basically given up. Uzomah has quietly received 29 targets over the last 5 weeks.

Dan Arnold

I’ve seen rumblings that Arnold returns this week. Not sure why but if he does, the Colts offer a great match up. Keep an eye on him.

Hopefully you can find them laying on the waiver wire. The Colts visit the Jags in Week 18.

The Giants are such a joke they make the WFT look like not a joke. The Giants threw the ball 3 times in Week 17 as the Bears dominated the game. Week 18 should prove a similar result for the Giants offense.

KC gets the Broncos in Week 18. Lock hasn’t played awful but he is still a turnover machine. Broncos have been eliminated and the Chiefs are playing for the 1 seed.
